domestic battery manufacturing is a big deal. The addition of three new
production lines—and plans for more—shows Mullen is serious about innovation and
reducing reliance on foreign suppliers. Solid-state battery research is
especially exciting since it could lead to longer-lasting, more efficient
batteries. Of course, the real test will be how quickly and efficiently Mullen
can get these lines up and running by 2025. If they can hit their targets, it
could mean more jobs in Fullerton and a stronger presence in the EV market.
